🐄 Major cyber breach affects patient records

Quest Diagnostics, one of the largest medical lab companies in the country, confirmed this week that hackers broke into a system where patients and doctors access test results. Back in 2019, a breach at a billing company exposed personal information for nearly 12 million Quest patients. Before that, a 2016 hack leaked lab results and contact details for about 34,000 people.

A new study from Tulane University found that people who are both socially isolated and lonely lose, on average, six years of healthy life compared to people who feel connected.
