01  Don't skip the most important meal of the day.

We all know the old adage: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Now we finally have data that backs it up.

A new study of more than 31,000 older adults found that the timing of your first meal tracks with how long you live. People who waited until after noon to eat had a 29 percent higher chance of dying during the study than those who ate around 7 or 8 in the morning.

It does not prove eating late is the cause, but the pattern is hard to ignore. Tomorrow, eat something real before the coffee.

02  FDA fails again.

FDA inspection records show about half of the US supplement facilities the agency inspected were cited for violations: no quality testing, no real recipe controls, missing batch records. Overseas plants were worse, with some countries failing nearly every inspection.

The difference from drugs matters: a prescription drug has to prove itself and pass inspection before it can be sold, but a supplement goes straight to the shelf and is only pulled after people report harm. So no one is really checking that bottle before it reaches you.

‘Forbidden Fruit' Melts Belly Fat After 40

NativePath MCT Powder ad creative

After 40, metabolism drops 10% per decade, making belly fat inevitable. But groundbreaking studies show coconut-derived MCTs reverse this process.

NativePath MCT Powder contains concentrated coconut MCTs that work differently than other fats - instead of storing as belly fat, they immediately convert to energy that burns existing fat stores. Research shows 5 distinct ways MCTs specifically target belly fat after 40 - boosting metabolism, burning visceral fat, controlling cravings, providing energy, and preserving muscle.

03  Finally, here's the catch.

We said the weight-loss shots looked too good to be true. Now the bill is coming due.

A study of 333,000 veterans found people who stopped taking Ozempic and drugs like it had a 22 percent higher risk of heart attack, stroke, or death over the next two years than those who stayed on.

And staying on carries its own price.

A separate report documented 15 cases of a brain-damaging vitamin B1 deficiency in people on these drugs, likely because the shots kill appetite so hard that users stop eating enough to feed the brain.

Quit and your heart pays. Stay and your brain might.

Most retirees take their RMD the traditional way — in cash. An in-kind distribution may help you avoid selling at the wrong time.

✿ WILD STORY

Here is your reminder that lightning does not care about your morning routine.

An Ohio couple had just dropped their kids off at church when a single bolt struck them both. They fell to the ground, unable to move their arms or legs, while bystanders ran over to help.

Both of them survived, and we are thankful they are okay.

✿ ONE GOOD THING

Some good deeds take decades to come back around.

A Virginia firefighter once saved a stranger's life by restarting his heart after a cardiac arrest. This month, 28 years later, the two men finally met face to face.

He got to look the person who gave him the rest of his life in the eye and say thank you.
